Job summary

Greater Flint Health Coalition (GFHC) seeks an Assistant Project Manager to join Genesee CHAP and community health programs in Flint, MI. This role supports program development, implementation, and management, coordinating with providers, insurers, and community partners.

You will assist with meetings, data collection and analysis, and reporting to advance GFHC’s impact on access to care and population health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health or related field; MPH/MHSA/MS is a plus.
• Experience with public health programs addressing social determinants of health.
• Ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and work in time-sensitive environments.
• Strategic thinking, innovation, and engaging multi-sector stakeholders.
• Ability to integrate diverse skills to improve program outcomes.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, support, management, and execution of committees and community projects with cross-functional teams.
• Provide staffing for committees and task forces; prepare materials and minutes.
• Manage project timelines, documentation, and deliverables.
• Collect/analyze data to inform community needs and outcomes; prepare reports.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts.
• Support GFHC mission and development of collaborative relationships.
• Other duties as assigned.
