Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health or related field
• Master's degree preferred
• Three years of work experience in public health or related field
• Experience with grant management and reporting
• Experience collecting and analyzing data
• Expert competency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Access, Word, Outlook
• Expert competency in data collection, analysis, management and reporting systems
• Experience creating data reporting tools for diverse stakeholder groups
• Experience applying critical thinking and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; teaching ability
• Experience in planning, development, and implementation of sound process improvement solutions
• Experience self-directing in a challenging and ambiguous environment

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and coordinate the Drug Free Jackson (DFJ) Coalition with community partners
• Plan, conduct, and oversee annual tobacco, alcohol, and cannabis retailer education and compliance check visits with local law enforcement
