Job summary

Quanta Power Solutions seeks an Assistant Project Manager/Engineer to support planning, execution, and delivery of power generation and energy infrastructure projects. You will work with project managers, engineering, procurement, construction teams, clients, and stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

The role emphasizes coordination, documentation, risk assessment, and field support across multiple sites, with opportunities for professional growth and industry exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–8+ years supporting project management, project coordination, construction management, or project engineering.
• Experience supporting EPC, industrial, utility, infrastructure, construction, or energy-related projects.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel periodically for project meetings, site visits, and field activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and executing power generation and energy infrastructure projects.
• Support scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and project controls activities.
• Track project progress, milestones, deliverables, and KPIs.
• Coordinate communication between clients, subcontractors, vendors, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with procurement activities, including vendor coordination, bid evaluations, PO tracking, and material deliveries.
• Support contract administration, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation management.
• Identify risks, issues, and opportunities and support mitigation strategies.
• Attend project meetings, prepare agendas, reports, and status updates.
• Ensure safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
