Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager I to support the Project Manager across engineering, estimating, procurement, and construction during development and execution phases. The role involves coordinating disciplines, developing initial schedules, and participating in value engineering for energy infrastructure projects.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, strong organizational and communication skills, and ability to work both

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent field; equivalent work experience or an accredited apprenticeship may be substituted.
• Self-starter and able to work independently or in a team.
• Strong problem evaluation and solving skills.
• Understanding of the project design process for projects.
• Understanding of integrated EPC processes and construction means/methods.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution phases.
• Assist PM in developing initial project schedules with engineering and controls teams.
• Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Prepare subcontractor/vendor scopes and schedule exhibits for PM review.
• Collaborate with Safety on safety plans, incident reporting and investigations.
• Assist PM with project schedules and monthly review reports for management.
• Support project through financial reviews and monthly closeouts.
• Assist with RFI submittals using QISG document management system.
• Provide feedback to improve quality of technical, commercial, and administrative deliverables.
• Assist in procurement of purchase orders and subcontract packages.
• Monitor progress of design, procurement, and construction; support close-out and warranty administration.
• Perform post-construction cost reviews and participate in lessons learned.
