Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager I to support the Project Manager across engineering, estimating, controls, procurement and construction during development and execution phases.

The role requires coordinating schedules, participating in value engineering, and ensuring safety plans and project documentation are aligned with client needs and internal standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or accredited apprenticeship; equivalent work experience may substitute.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong problem evaluation/solving skills and understanding of project design.
• Familiarity with estimating, scheduling, and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution.
• Assists PM in developing initial project schedules with cross-functional teams.
• Participates in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Works with procurement to develop subcontractor and vendor scopes and schedules.
• Collaborates with Safety on safety plans, incident reporting, and investigations.
• Assists PM with monthly project reviews and financial closeouts.
• Supports RFI submittals using the document management system.
• Provides feedback to improve technical, commercial, and administrative deliverables.
• Supports procurement of purchase orders and subcontract packages.
• Monitors progress of design, procurement and construction.
• Facilitates project close-out and warranty administration.
• Performs post-construction cost review and shares lessons learned.
• May act as PM when qualified and as directed by PM/Operations Director.
