Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager I (APM I) to support the Project Manager across engineering, estimating, procurement, and construction efforts on multiple projects. You will help develop initial schedules, participate in value engineering, and ensure safety and quality throughout development and execution.

The role involves coordination with procurement, subcontractors, and internal teams, with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 2+ years construction project experience.
• Experience in engineering, estimating, bidding, purchasing, subcontracts, scheduling, cost control, and document control.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution phases.
• Assist in developing the initial project schedule with engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction management personnel.
• Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Collaborate with procurement to define subcontractor and vendor scopes and schedules.
• Coordinate with Safety on project safety plans, incident reporting, and investigations.
• Assist PM with monthly project scheduling and review reports.
• Support project by conducting financial reviews and closeouts monthly.
• Assist with RFIs using QISG’s document management system.
• Provide feedback to improve quality of technical, commercial, and administrative deliverables.
• Assist in purchasing orders and subcontracts; monitor progress of design, procurement, and construction.
• Facilitate project close-out and warranty administration.
• Contribute to post-construction cost reviews and lessons learned.
