Power Engineering Services, a Quanta Services Company, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager/Project Engineer to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex electrical power engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline and an interest in growing into project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Mechanical engineering, construction management, or related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience managing utility or electrical infrastructure projects.
• Strong background in electrical systems, power distribution, protection & control, or substation testing.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Primavera, MS Project, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex electrical power engineering projects.
• Coordinate field activities, document control, scheduling, and client communications.
• Track progress, manage RFIs, submittals, and test/commissioning support.
• Lead field testing teams and manage subcontractors to ensure quality and safety.
• Maintain site files, daily reports, and equipment/calibration records.
