Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals in Denver, CO, seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support Load Bank projects, assist with quotes, execution, and closeout, and provide technical expertise to sales and operations teams. These PMO team members deliver essential information management and resource coordination in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist with site walks, field support, and completing administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in the power distribution/generation field specifically with Load banks, power distribution and power generation equipment
• Formal Electrical Training
• PM Certification preferred
• A technical aptitude– willingness and ability to learn the business application and fleet capabilities
• Proficient with a computer and Microsoft Office products
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel overnight on an average of 5% and pass drug/alcohol/security screening

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all SBR policies and procedures
• Attend project/PMO meetings and document discussions, identify action items
• Review RFQs for completeness and urgency, ask questions to gather missing details
• Provide assistance to sales and operations for level 1 and 2 service requests
• Review PM solution designs, schedules, drawings for errors and details
• Assist PMs with logistics RFQs, planning, and execution
• Perform all project data entry in the ERP system (quotes, reservations, contracts, etc.)
• Manage updates of project information in the PMO tracker
• Submit profitability analysis requests as required by policy
• Review and comment on project sales proposals
• Generate OPS and PUN for projects
• Submit leadership approval requests as required
• Review HALT reports for vendor invoicing
• Generate purchase orders as approved
• Assist PMs in budget logs and change orders
• Schedule freight deliveries/pickups and manage 3rd party drivers
• Conduct site walks and periodic visits
• Assess equipment needs with Fleet Manager and suggest alternatives
• Generate new project folders using PMO structures
• Create project templates and assist PM in updates
• Retain project documents per PMO policy
• Assist PMs in meeting deadlines and customer responses
• Provide information to OAA/OSR/Technicians for timely communication
• Assist PMO/OSR with billing support documentation
• Contribute to PMO monitoring/reporting tools
• Assist Fleet Management with equipment resource planning
• Learn cross-training for coverage
• Engage in safety/quality/improvement discussions
• Other duties as assigned by manager
