Job summary

The Burt Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join a high-performing team in Austin, TX. You will work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to keep projects moving, ensuring tight documentation and alignment from kickoff to closeout.

You will coordinate daily activities, support meetings, and manage cost controls while growing into a Project Manager role within a one-team, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Strong communication across all project levels.
• Proficiency in Procore and Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily project activities across scheduling, docs, submittals, RFIs, pay applications, and change orders.
• Attend and support construction and financial meetings, manage costs and owner pay apps monthly, and use Procore effectively.
• Mentor newer Project Engineers as you grow into the Project Manager role.
