Job summary

The Burt Group, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Project Manager to own all facets of commercial GC projects and lead a high-performing team through kickoff to closeout. You will manage client relationships, subcontractors, schedules, and budgets with strong collaboration from leadership.

You’ll drive weekly cost reviews, maintain proactive problem solving, and act as the primary contact for clients and the on-site team alongside the superintendent.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of PM experience on commercial GC projects of $5M+
• Background in healthcare, commercial, or retail renovation with occupied buildings experience a plus
• Strong communicator who builds lasting relationships with clients, architects, and subs

Responsibilities

• Own all aspects of assigned projects: client relationships, subcontractor management, scheduling, billing, change orders, and closeout
• Be the trusted contact for clients and on-site leader alongside the superintendent
• Lead weekly OAC meetings, monitor costs daily, and proactively solve problems
