Job summary

The Burt Group in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Project Manager to own projects from kickoff to closeout, managing client relationships, subcontractors, scheduling, and budgets with full support from a collaborative team.

You will drive on-site leadership with the superintendent and participate in weekly cost reviews and proactive problem solving, delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of PM experience on commercial GC projects of $5M+
• Background in healthcare, commercial, or retail renovation with occupied buildings experience a plus
• Strong communicator who builds lasting relationships with clients, architects, and subs
• Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Project, and Sage 100
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science or related field, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Own all aspects of your assigned projects: client relationships, subcontractor management, scheduling, billing, change orders, and comprehensive closeout.
• Be the trusted point of contact for clients and a driving force on site alongside your superintendent.
• Weekly OAC meetings, daily cost tracking, and proactive problem solving are part of the rhythm.
