Job summary

HarperGC in Columbia, SC seeks a Project Manager/Field Engineer to lead cross-functional teams on construction projects, ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence, and maintain open communication with Owners, Engineers, and Architects.

The role emphasizes hands-on project coordination, use of Procore for documentation, BIM coordination using Navisworks and BIM Glue, and strong knowledge of plans and specs. OSHA 30 certification and a related degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and OSHA 30 certification.
• Minimum 2.5 years of project management experience on construction projects.
• Experience as a Project Engineer or Field Engineer preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plans, specs, and construction means and methods.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for Owner, Engineer, and Architect.
• Oversee the project to assist in critical project decisions.
• Assist in estimating, scheduling, and preconstruction deliverables.
• Assist and oversee project decisions on scheduling, delivery, and quality.
• Coordinate with Owners and design teams; resolve issues with Architects/Engineers.
• Lead safety programs and weekly toolbox talks.
• Create and track schedules, RFIs, submittals, and punch lists in Procore.
• Produce owner monthly reports and job cost status updates.
