Job summary

HarperGC in Greenville, SC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a team-focused environment. You will partner with the Superintendent to deliver safe, quality projects on schedule while ensuring profitable outcomes.

Key duties include leading owner/engineer/architect communications, developing plans, and managing Procore-driven budgets, RFIs, submittals, and invoices. A strong safety culture and mentoring junior staff are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience, with preference for 3 years in Industrial focus.
• 5+ years as Assistant Project Manager and experience building from the ground up on >2 projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for Owner, Engineer, and Architect.
• Develop the project plan and oversee critical project decisions.
• Set up project start-up via Procore and ensure project accounting is correct.
• Oversee Procore: budgets, drawings, RFIs, submittals, photos, etc.
• Assist Estimating/Preconstruction with trade partner interviews and deliverables.
• Generate Owner Prime Contracts and ensure contract compliance.
• Produce and collect pay apps and invoices for trades/vendors/Owners.
• Attend Owner’s and subcontractor meetings; document outcomes.
• Communicate project updates to ownership and produce status reports.
• Administer subcontracts, purchase orders, and field service agreements.
• Review submittals and procurement logs; maintain schedule with Superintendent.
• Ensure safety program implementation and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor Assistant PMs, Project Engineers, and Interns.
