Job summary

Parkhill is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Texas to support planning, coordination, and delivery of projects from initiation through closeout. You will work with project managers, design and construction teams, clients, and consultants to manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and communications.

This full-time role offers growth as you gain responsibility across traditional PM, Owner’s Representative, and program management tasks, with hybrid work options at Parkhill's Texas offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, PM, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in the AEC industry or project coordination.
• Working knowledge of PM principles: scope, scheduling, budgeting.
• Experience with billing processes and budget monitoring.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Deltek Vantagepoint preferred.
• PM certification (CAPM, PMP) preferred.
• Strong organizational and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers from initiation through closeout.
• Assist with scope, schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate activities among clients, design teams, and contractors.
• Monitor schedules, milestones, budgets, and risks.
• Assist with procurement, contracting, and change management.
• Prepare project reports, dashboards, and client communications.
• Support project closeout and lessons learned.
