Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC (QISG) is seeking an Assistant Project Manager I to support the Project Manager on multiple projects, coordinating engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement and construction during development and execution phases. This role may rotate with operations teams and travel up to 50% as project needs require.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, strong collaboration, and solid communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent field; equivalent work experience, or combination of work and education, may be substituted

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution phases of the project
• Assist PM in developing initial project schedule with engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction management
• Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews
• Collaborate with procurement to develop subcontractor and vendor scopes of work and schedule exhibits for PM review
• Work with Safety personnel on safety issues and project-specific safety plan development and incident reporting
• Assist PM with project schedule and monthly project review reports
• Support project with financial reviews and monthly closeouts
• Assist with RFI submittals using QISG document management system
• Provide feedback to improve quality of technical, commercial, and administrative deliverables
• Assist in procurement of purchase orders and subcontract packages
• Monitor progress of design, procurement, and construction
• Facilitate project close-out and warranty administration
• Perform post-construction cost review and lessons learned
• Perform other duties as assigned by PM/Operations Director
• Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures
