Job summary

Veregy is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Phoenix, AZ to support the Project Manager and Site Superintendent with daily project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, procurement, and documentation. The role focuses on coordinating pre-construction activities, budgeting, and preparing scopes of work while maintaining strong client and team relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in a related field or a minimum of two (2) years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three (3) + years construction experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Project Manager with the pre-construction process, project budgets, reviewing required work with subcontractors, and preplanning operational activities.
• Assists the Project Manager by reviewing scopes of work.
• Assists the Project Manager in building and maintaining strong relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, Project Team, and Subcontractors.
• Communicates regularly with all involved parties regarding project plans, status of the project, upcoming activities, and open issues.
• Assists the Project Manager with setting up initial budgets by tabulating each required scope of work and inputting into required project management and accounting systems.
