Job summary

Veregy is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support day-to-day management of project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, and procurement. The role focuses on construction management and project execution with field-based activities and client interface.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or related experience, 1+ year of construction exposure, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or applicable relevant experience.
• 1+ years of construction experience.
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, Project, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Experience managing scopes of work with multiple vendors.
• Preferred experience with utility billing and the water industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with pre-construction process, budgets, and coordinating subcontractors.
• Review scopes of work and assist in project planning.
• Ensure quality standards per ASHRAE, SMACNA, ASME, ASTM, NFPA, NACE, IBC & NEC.
• Build and maintain relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors.
• Communicate project plans, status, and issues to involved parties.
• Set up initial budgets by tabulating scopes of work and inputting data.
• Document meeting minutes and manage project documentation.
