Qualifications

• Associate degree in applicable discipline.
• 2+ years of related Mission Critical experience or completion of Suffolk's Career Start Program as a Project Engineer or Project Engineer with another firm.
• Ability to manage and embrace change; adapt to new processes and perspectives.
• Proficient in computer usage and software.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Log in and track Contracts & Purchase Orders.
• Price, approve or reject Change Orders, Submittals, and respond to RFIs.
• Log in and review shop drawings and submittals; respond to RFIs.
• Request Insurance Certificates; review for compliance with requirements.
• Create and update Vendor and Subcontractor contacts.
• Price and create Proposed Change Orders.
• Submit and track RFIs.
• Manage building permit process and related issues.
• Coordinate plan revisions with municipalities.
• Work with attorneys on contracts and insurance.
