Job summary

Salute Mission Critical is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the project manager across data center infrastructure initiatives. The role involves coordinating with PMs, developing schedules, and ensuring documentation and deliverables are completed accurately.

The position requires 0–5 years in a project management-related role, knowledge of mechanical/electrical building systems, and the ability to travel up to 60% to various project sites. Proficiency with MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• Understanding of mechanical and electrical building systems.
• Military experience a plus.
• MS Office proficiency required.
• Ability to travel 50–60% to project sites.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the PM with deliverables, day-to-day tasks and documentation.
• Coordinate communications with PM and project personnel.
• Develop project schedules for PM review.
• Review timelines and ensure on-time deliverables.
• Populate project documentation folders (client/EOR/GC).
• Prepare meeting minutes and participate in meetings.
• Assist testing engineers with punch list management.
• Monitor project budget and profitability.
• Create project plans in Smartsheet and invoices in Ajera.
