Job summary

Salute Mission Critical is a leading provider of Data Center Infrastructure Services seeking an Assistant Project Manager to assist the PM with deliverables, schedules, and documentation. This role supports travel to multiple sites and requires a dedicated home office for effective collaboration.

Ideal candidates have 0–5 years in project management, a basic understanding of mechanical/electrical systems, and strong communication skills. MS Office, Smartsheet, and Ajera familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years in project management or similar role (construction experience preferred).
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical building systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to calculate figures, percentages, and proportions.
• Strong communication, organization, and proactive work habits.
• Willingness to travel 50–60% and work from home.
• Leadership, planning, and decision-making capabilities.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with project scope and pricing.
• Coordinate communication with PM and project personnel.
• Develop CX plans reviewed by PM.
• Develop project schedules for PM review.
• Review timelines with PM and team.
• Organize project documents from client/EOR/GC.
• Communicate requirements and travel arrangements to team.
• Attend meetings and draft minutes.
• Participate in punch list meetings and testing punch lists.
• Prepare reporting templates for the team.
• Monitor project budget and profitability.
• Develop project plans in Smartsheet for PM review.
• Review status and create invoices in Ajera.
