Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Special Projects team in Santa Clara, CA. This role focuses on driving success across new and ongoing construction projects, coordinating with design teams and vendors, and ensuring timely deliverables.

The position requires strong initiative, problem solving, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. You will assist with budgeting, documentation, and close-out activities, while maintaining compliance and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in CM/Engineering/Architect or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Project Engineer in Construction PM.
• CSA (civil, structural, architectural) and MEP construction management experience is required.
• Data Center/Owner’s Representative or GC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report to Vantage Special Projects team and assigned manager.
• Gather vendor proposals, invoicing documents and ensure timely deliverables.
• Manage submittals, RFI process, drawings and safety reporting.
• Coordinate meetings, meeting minutes, and drive actions to closure.
• Oversee OFCI equipment release, delivery, startup and commissioning.
• Manage project close-out and documentation.
