Job summary

AIREKO Companies seeks an Assistant Project Manager to assist the Project Manager in planning and oversight of our projects. You will coordinate compliance with authorities, develop labor plans, and produce project drawings, acting as the site quarterback and main client contact during construction.

The role requires 3+ years of direct construction management experience and a Civil Engineering or Project Management degree, with strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) or Project Management.
• Minimum of 3 years’ direct construction management experience in the construction industry.
• Management experience with construction projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Operations teams in planning and execution of projects.
• Hold site safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety rules.
• Manage onsite coordination of all sub-contractors and third-party labor.
• Assist in coordinating purchasing and labor needs for projects.
• Maintain daily activity log and report site data to the Project Manager.
• Manage logistics and communications with customers, authorities, and utilities.
• Assist in creating and updating project drawings.
• Interact with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
• Experience with submittal and RFI documents.
• Contribute to a culture of cost savings and green initiatives.
• Additional duties as needed.
