Job summary

AIREKO is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, coordination, and execution of industrial construction projects. You will work with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to ensure safety, schedule, budget, and quality.

The role offers growth toward Project Manager and leadership positions, exposure to complex projects, and a collaborative team focused on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Construction/Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of construction project management experience.
• Experience with industrial utility systems: chillers, AHUs, BAS, cooling towers, pumps, plumbing, and piping.
• Strong knowledge of construction operations and blueprint reading.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and managing construction projects from start to finish
• Coordinate labor and subcontractors to maintain project schedules
• Support procurement, scheduling, and project logistics
• Monitor project progress and maintain daily activity reports
• Conduct site safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Coordinate with clients, local agencies, and utility companies
• Review and update project drawings and documentation
• Build strong client relationships by providing exceptional customer service
• Perform additional project-related duties as assigned

Job Summary

The Assistant Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and successful execution of construction projects. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and managing construction projects from start to finish
• Coordinate labor and subcontractors to maintain project schedules
• Support procurement, scheduling, and project logistics
• Monitor project progress and maintain daily activity reports
• Conduct site safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Coordinate with clients, local agencies, and utility companies
• Review and update project drawings and documentation
• Build strong client relationships by providing exceptional customer service
• Perform additional project-related duties as assigned
