Job summary

Aireko Construction Corp. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to assist the Project Manager in planning and overseeing projects, coordinating compliance with authorities, developing labor plans, and updating drawings.

The APM will act as the site quarterback and primary client liaison during construction, coordinating safety, subcontractors, logistics, and drawing updates to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Project Management.
• Minimum 3 years direct construction management experience.
• Experience managing construction projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee projects with the Project Manager.
• Hold site safety meetings and ensure compliance with rules.
• Manage onsite subcontractors and 3rd party labor.
• Coordinate purchasing and labor needs for projects.
• Maintain a daily activity log and report site data.
• Coordinate logistics and communications with client, government, and utility.
• Assist in creating and updating project drawings.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients.
• Experience with submittals and RFIs.
• Support green initiatives and cost-saving efforts.
