LJA Land Development in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support public infrastructure projects while continuing to perform hands-on engineering work. You will bridge project engineering and project management, coordinating with project managers, design teams, and clients to deliver projects such as water, wastewater, drainage, and local infrastructure.

The role offers growth into a full Project Manager position, requires a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer license in the State of Texas.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager with proposals, project delivery, scheduling, billing, and client coordination.
• Perform Project Engineering responsibilities, including serving as Engineer of Record when assigned.
• Assist with the project management aspects of project delivery and coordination across teams.
• Develop initial design approaches for major phases of large projects or manage engineering work with limited supervision.
• Coordinate with internal design teams to support timely and accurate project execution.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and technical staff.
