LJA Land Development seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support major phases of large projects, overseeing engineering work and coordinating with clients and internal teams. The role blends office planning with field exposure across the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Civil Engineering, is a licensed PE, and has 5+ years of post-graduate experience, with strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required.
• 5+ years of post-graduate experience.
• Ability to build strong relationships.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates engineering work on a major phase of a large project.
• Supervision of less experienced engineers or technical staff on an assignment basis.
• Exercises judgment in evaluation and adaptation of standard engineering techniques.
• Makes basic decisions about alternative procedures when information is not given.
• Coordinates information needs with internal clients and stakeholders.
