Job summary

Rosendin Electric is seeking an entry-level Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Management team with documentation, submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes on active construction sites. You will assist in planning, coordinating activities, and ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.

Responsibilities include maintaining logs, assisting with submittals, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, and supporting field personnel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a construction-related role.
  • Equivalent combination of training, education, and relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes.
  • Oversee project activities assigned by the Project Manager, including planning, coordinating, resolving problem areas, and ensuring maintenance of company/project policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Maintain change orders, submittal, drawing control logs, and prepare required logs and other project documentation for construction meetings.
  • Ensure contract submittals are accurate and timely.
  • Issue subcontractor contracts.
  • Assemble and deliver Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
  • Ensure project quality control plan is followed.
  • Confirm correct documentation and drawings are obtained for Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
  • Update Warranty Log.
  • Attend project meetings with clients, subcontractors, etc., providing project management support.
  • Assist field personnel assigned to the area of responsibility.
  • Monitor other contractors’ activities and progress.
  • Create Job Information Sheets and establish Job Files.
  • Prepare price change orders and project reports and documentation.
  • Work with payroll to ensure accurate payroll information.
  • Other responsibilities will be assigned based on the role within the business unit.

Travel

Up to 25%.

Working Conditions
  • Primarily on active construction sites. Activity includes sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending.
  • Work conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions, such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
  • Noise level typically low to medium.
  • Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Company complies with the ADA and applicable state law, including consideration of reasonable accommodations.

Pay Range

$79,600.00 – $119,400.00 Annual
