Position: Project Manager I – a mid‑level project management role responsible for overseeing projects from planning through completion, ensuring client satisfaction by delivering unparalleled service.

What you’ll do
  • Plan and organize a project under the direction of a Senior Project Manager / Division Manager.
  • Supervise and direct project activities, including assigning tasks to Assistant Project Managers, planning, coordinating and resolving problem areas, and maintaining all company/project policies, procedures, standards, etc.
  • Provide project management expertise to establish initial client contact, including assessment of the scope of work, schedule, and resources.
  • Prepare a complete estimate for the selected project with a detailed review of plans, specifications, and bid form.
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate guidelines.
  • Supervise preparation of all change orders on the project; negotiate them with the client.
  • Monitor construction activities with the onsite Foreman and Area Superintendent to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget.
  • Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures under supervision.
  • Prepare monthly costing reports under the supervision of a Senior PM or Division Manager.
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company’s interest while maintaining good client relationships.
  • Review documentation prepared by Assistant Project Managers before submission.
  • Represent the company in project meetings under the guidance of PM II or Senior Project Manager.

  • Proficiency in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); Accubid and Oracle preferred.

  • Work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
  • Oral and written communication skills as required for the position.
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and an effective team player.
  • Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, vendors, clients, and others.
What you bring to us
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry in a Project Management role.
  • Combination of training, education, and relevant work experience acceptable.
Travel
  • Up to 25% travel.
