Job summary

Michael Page US is seeking a Project Manager to lead high-profile retail interior and tenant improvement projects in New York. You will support project managers across planning, budgeting and procurement, coordinate submittals and RFIs, and maintain clear communication with clients and partners.

The role emphasizes strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

  • 1-4 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in retail/interiors.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
  • Experience with construction software such as Procore or Bluebeam is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers through all phases of construction.
  • Assist with planning, scheduling, and budget tracking.
  • Coordinate RFIs, submittals, change orders and documents.
  • Communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Attend project meetings and provide progress updates.
  • Monitor costs and assist with financial reporting.
  • Support estimating and preconstruction activities.
  • Assist in project closeout and turnover.

Job Description

The Successful Applicant
  • 1-4 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Retail, interiors, commercial, or tenant improvement experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Eager to learn and take on increasing responsibility.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
