The Role at a Glance
As our Assistant Project Manager, you will support the Project Manager and Superintendent in driving project success through effective management of documentation, scheduling, financials, and subcontractor coordination. Working primarily onsite, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth project execution from start-up to closeout. In this key position, you’ll need strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to solving challenges. Your ability to manage submittals, coordinate with subcontractors, and oversee project closeout activities will be instrumental in delivering exceptional results for our clients.
How You'll Drive Results
Essential Functions
You must be able to twist, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, and climb stairs and ladders occasionally, with the ability to walk on uneven ground while navigating active construction sites. Depth perception is required to avoid excavations and other hazards, and the ability to hear warning sounds such as horns and sirens from moving equipment is essential for safety. The role involves standing for extended periods, up to seven hours of an eight-hour shift, and the occasional lifting of items weighing up to 25 pounds.
