Compensation: This position pays an hourly rate of $36/hr.

Schedule: This position can be based anywhere in the United States. It's a heavy travel position, with our teams traveling 180+ days out of the year to respond to catastrophic events.

The purpose of this position is to introduce the Project Manager role by coordinating, assigning, and managing projects while successfully following the scope of work. This position is responsible for working with a seasoned Project Manager on disaster restoration projects, including meeting with customers, estimating jobs, managing production crews, ensuring high-quality work, and interacting with customers and property adjusters. The Assistant/Junior Project Manager will also ensure all paperwork and project management systems are completed for each job.

Duties and responsibilities:

• The Assistant/Junior Project Manager is responsible for a carefully planned and consistently applied sales program to maintain stable revenue levels for residential, commercial, and disaster restoration projects, working alongside a seasoned Project Manager.
• Work with a seasoned Project Manager to promote a growth rate of sales aligned with the company's capacities. Develop client, subcontractor, and vendor relationships.
• Represent DSI Holdings Corporation in project meetings and identify new work opportunities, informing the Sales and Marketing team of potential projects.
• Lead internal teams focused on business improvement.
• Analyze and determine saturation and exploitation areas for sales.
• Utilize DSI Holdings’ marketing programs for residential, commercial, and disaster restoration.
• Occasionally accompany Sales Personnel on calls to observe sales techniques and evaluate performance, preparing formal reviews.
• Maintain customer activity records to evaluate business volume.
• Work with the Project Manager on instructions and recommendations, maintaining a master file for reference.
• Identify responsibilities and delegate large key accounts to specific sales personnel.
• Stay informed about competitors’ marketing activities and pricing through personal initiative and communication.
• Promote good customer relations by providing prompt service and coordinating inquiries and complaints.
• Adhere to all company policies, including safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Two-year Degree in Business, Marketing, or Management
• Four-year Degree in Business, Marketing, or Management
• Valid Driver’s License
• Previous project management experience in the restoration industry
• Experience with time and material estimation platforms
• IICRC Certifications
• Ability to learn new technology and software, detail-oriented, and strong communication skills

Physical and Mental Requirements:

• Standing, sitting, crouching, walking, bending, reaching, grasping, lifting (up to 70 pounds), and driving
• Visual, auditory, speech, and olfactory abilities
• Capacity to manage customer conversations, laborers, and paperwork
• Mechanical aptitude

Working Conditions:

• Primarily on job sites in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold
• Alternate bending and lifting of large items up to 70 pounds
• May oversee temporary laborers

Additional Information:

This position guarantees a minimum of 40 hours per week.
