Job summary

Jayco Talent is seeking an entry- to mid-level Assistant Project Manager to work on major ground-up commercial and industrial electrical projects. You will be embedded with seasoned PMs and field leaders, coordinating with GCs, owners, architects, engineers, and vendors to keep projects moving and on track.

You’ll lead or assist in budgets, schedules, procurement logs, and documentation, with Site walks and ongoing emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 1+ years supporting electrical scopes on ground-up commercial or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar tools.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of electrical systems, construction sequencing, and code compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle electrical construction from pre-con through closeout.
• Help build and maintain budgets, schedules, manpower plans, and procurement logs.
• Coordinate with GCs, owners, architects, engineers, vendors, and field teams.
• Conduct site walks and help monitor safety, quality, and progress.
• Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Track materials, equipment, and delivery schedules.
• Support field supervisors and help drive alignment with project goals.
• Assist with punch lists, closeout packages, and turnover documentation.
