Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an experienced Assistant Program Director to support the Program Director in overseeing shelter sites across the assigned region. You will provide leadership to staff and ensure social services and operational procedures are followed while seeking improvements.

You will supervise housing teams, manage case conferences, ensure DHS/OTDA compliance, and maintain CARES documentation, reporting incidents promptly and supporting program-wide goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field.
• At least three years of supervisory experience in social services, housing, or emergency shelter.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee housing team and ensure quarterly placement targets.
• Develop individualized housing and service plans through case conferences.
• Monitor compliance with DHS/OTDA policies and CARES documentation.
• Report incidents to DHS and manage program records.
