Job summary

University of Miami Health System seeks a board-certified/eligible pathologist with AP/CP and hematopathology expertise to join the Department of Pathology. You will provide diagnostic services across UMH/JMH and affiliated centers and participate in education and research.

The role emphasizes teaching residents and fellows and contributing to quality assurance and accreditation efforts within the pathology department.

Qualifications

• MD or DO licensed to practice medicine in Florida.
• Board certification or eligibility in AP and/or CP with Hematopathology certification or eligibility.
• Strong diagnostic and laboratory management skills in pathology.

Responsibilities

• Patient care services at University of Miami Hospital and affiliates including hematology specimens.
• Microscopic examinations of hematologic specimens and timely coding verification.
• 24 hours call coverage as required by division.
