Job summary

Jabil's Bryan Dairy Facility in Florida is seeking an Assistant Production Supervisor to support daily manufacturing operations, drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives, and partner with production leadership to foster continuous improvement.

You will help establish production priorities, coordinate with cross‑functional teams, monitor metrics, reduce waste, and mentor team members to achieve targets while upholding Jabil's standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or operations.
• Experience in leadership or supervisory roles preferred.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing production priorities and coordinating daily manufacturing activities to meet customer requirements and operational goals.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of production and quality control standards.
• Coordinate production activities with Procurement, Maintenance, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to maximize efficiency and resource utilization.
• Review production, quality, and operational performance data to identify trends, resolve issues, and drive corrective actions.
• Assist in reducing scrap, minimizing MRO usage, and improving overall operational effectiveness.
• Monitor production metrics and contribute to monthly performance reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support efforts to reduce defects per million (DPM) and improve product quality and process capability.
• Ensure employees understand and comply with company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
