Responsibilities

Establish production priorities in line with cost factors and operating efficiency.
Coordinate production activities with procurement, maintenance and quality control.
Review production and quality reports to identify nonconformities and suggest corrective actions.
Minimize scrap and ensure clean, organized workstations; implement improved methods.
Monitor production metrics and prepare monthly report cards, targeting lower defects per million.
Ensure staff adhere to policies and have necessary operation supplies and equipment.
Monitor SPC system to detect repetitive problems and take corrective steps.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
