Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates production activities in the absence of the Production Manager.
• Provide on the job guidance and training to Foreman and production staff.
• Enforce safety policies with Foremen and production employees.
• Coordinate production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control to optimize resources.
• Review production and quality reports to identify causes of nonconformity and improve processes.
• Develop and implement operating methods to eliminate problems and improve product quality.
• Revise production schedules and prioritise work when equipment failure or issues arise.
• Consult with engineering to modify machines and equipment for better performance.
