Responsibilities

• Examines blueprints to determine dimensions.
• Studies production schedules and assigns staff to meet schedules.
• Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Recommends improvements to methods, equipment, and quality of product.
• Suggests changes to working conditions to increase efficiency.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems or helps workers solve issues.
• Calculates time card totals and production records.
• Sets up machines and equipment.
