Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Orlando is seeking an Assistant Production Manager to assist the Production Manager in organizing and supervising the Production Department. The role reports to the Production Manager or Operations Manager.

Responsibilities include staff hiring/training, conducting performance evaluations, enforcing safety and quality standards, and collaborating with engineering, sales, and service management to keep the plant running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• May hire and train new staff or assist management with this process.
• Conduct or assist with performance evaluations.
• Assist with employment actions, including discipline and termination.
• Monitor and improve labor utilization and production efficiency.
• Conduct training in all production departments.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and service management.
• Ensure production policies, procedures and standards are followed.
• Ensure standards for production, quality, housekeeping and safety are met.
• Adhere to department budgets and employee relations.
• Follow instructions and participate in meetings.
