The role involves assisting with staff hiring, training, and performance evaluations to maintain smooth plant performance.

You will help implement production policies, monitor quality and safety standards, and collaborate with engineering, sales, and service management to optimize labor use and expenses.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Manager in organizing and supervising daily operations.
• May hire and train staff or assist management with this process.
• Conduct or assist with performance evaluations.
• Assist with employment actions including discipline and termination.
• Monitor and improve labor utilization and production efficiency.
• Conduct new hire and ongoing training in all production departments.
• Consult with engineering, sales, and service management to ensure smooth plant operation.
• Ensure adherence to production policies, procedures and standards.
• Monitor safety, quality, housekeeping, and department budgets.
