Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Produce Manager in Kendall, FL to help customers make healthy choices through leadership of one of our busiest departments. You will support the Produce Manager in merchandising, quality control, and team supervision.

You will hire, train, and develop staff while ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards. This fast-paced role offers growth opportunities and a dynamic, friendly work environment.

Qualificações

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a basic knowledge of math, weights and measures.
• Be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication skills and the ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitize work areas.
• Follow safety, health, Weights and Measures regulations including COOL and obtain a Food Handlers permit.
• Ability to stand/walk/bend/climb; lift up to 50 lbs; handle objects up to 72 inches high and move for long periods.
• Operate a pallet jack to move pallets up to 20 feet, up to 85 pounds, for several hours.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Produce Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Produce team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Maintain freshness standards through receiving, processing, packaging, pricing, signage, displaying, and rotation of items.
• Lead a team to deliver high-quality products and the best customer experience.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing the Produce team.
• Unload and sort deliveries; operate and maintain produce equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
