Job summary

AEG is seeking an Assistant Practice Manager to inspire the team, deliver exceptional patient care, and drive meaningful business results on the practice floor.

You will support the Practice Manager, help create an environment where people feel seen and valued, and develop leadership capability for expanded responsibilities over time. This hands-on role covers patient care coordination, optical sales and service, technician support, and operational routines.

Qualifications

• Optical/healthcare/service operations experience required.
• 1–2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and work across multiple roles.

Responsibilities

• Support daily practice operations and patient flow.
• Coordinate team and service execution on the practice floor.
• Assist with onboarding, coaching, and training.
• Collaborate with Practice Manager and Optometrist on exam flow.
• Maintain patient-centered service and timely follow-up.
