Job summary

AEG is seeking an Assistant Practice Manager to inspire the team, deliver excellent patient care, and drive meaningful business results.

The role supports the Practice Manager on daily operations, patient flow, and team coordination. It is a hands-on, developmental leadership position designed to build operational knowledge and readiness for expanded responsibility over time, with opportunities across multiple practice functions.

Qualifications

• Leadership capability demonstrated, including coaching or guiding teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration in fast-paced environments.
• Willingness to learn across multiple practice positions to support patient care and operations.
• Experience in optical or healthcare service settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Practice Manager with daily operations, patient flow, team coordination, service execution, and real-time practice needs.
• Work on the practice floor and assist across practice functions to support patient care, staffing gaps, and operational execution.
• Learn and support key practice roles, including patient care coordination, optical sales, and technician/clinical support.
• Assist with onboarding, coaching, and team development under the Practice Manager's direction.
• Communicate daily priorities and standards to team members.
• Participate in interviews, onboarding, and follow-up as requested.
