Reports to: Personal Training Manager

We are seeking an assistant personal training manager who will be a key member of our leadership team, driving success in club operations and managing a team of personal trainers at Crunch Fitness - Undefeated Tribe.

Position Overview

The assistant personal training manager supports a high-performance, high-care culture that operates with speed and urgency, focusing on member integration, programming, and development.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing the fitness expertise of all Crunch team members
• Achieve new client acquisition and existing client retention targets
• Lead the CrunchOne Kickoff experience through demonstration, coaching, and guidance to acquire personal training clients
• Generate personal training client leads and new clients for the team
• Counsel and guide members using the 4 Pillars of Fitness: Nutrition, Movement, Supplementation, and Professional Assistance
• Ensure accurate administration of PT services, including dotFIT program, supplements, client programming, and progress tracking
• Align resources based on KPIs and organizational priorities with PTM support
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to member inquiries within 24 hours
• Report key results and action plans to the General Manager and Personal Training Manager
• Attend all required meetings and training for PT staff
• Maintain accurate records of time clock and personal training session utilization for labor control

Required Skills & Experience

• 1-2 years of personal training experience preferred
• CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire)
• Prior management experience leading a team of 3-10 employees preferred
• Experience managing plans and KPIs required
• Demonstrate integrity and judgment that inspires trust
• Basic understanding of the fitness industry, market, and key business drivers

Certifications

Must hold one or more of the following nationally accredited certifications:

• ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine)
• ACE (American Council on Exercise)
• The Cooper Institute
• IFPA (International Fitness Professionals Association)
• NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine)
• NESTA (National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association)
• NFPT (National Federation of Professional Trainers)
• NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association)
• International Sports Sciences Association (with NCCA accreditation)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift or move 50 lbs.
• Physical effort includes lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing/walking

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required

• Over $65,000 in annual earnings potential
