Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a dedicated Restaurant Training Manager based in the Portland, Oregon Metropolitan Area. The Restaurant Training Manager will join our Human Resources department and support our current restaurant teams and upcoming restaurant expansions. The role is an important liaison and extension of our Restaurant Operations team. Responsibilities include developing and implementing effective training and career development programs, overseeing training sessions, assessing training needs, and ensuring staff are up to date with compliance training, restaurant protocols, and service standards. The role involves both on-site presence and remote work flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience in employee training and development, including creating training materials and conducting sessions
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, customer service standards, and food safety regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective training and team collaboration
• Organizational and time management skills to ensure efficient training processes
• Proficiency in using training software and tools for remote facilitation
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a hybrid work environment
• Experience in the restaurant industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is required
• Possess or be able to obtain a valid state-issued Food Handler's Card
• Project Management Certification is a plus
• Two (2) years of training experience, preferably in the restaurant industry, is required
