Job summary

Ambrosia QSR is seeking an Assistant Manager to support operations for a single Portland restaurant. You will supervise team members, coordinate safety and pre‑shift meetings, and ensure guest satisfaction while adhering to food safety and labor regulations.

Qualified candidates will have 1–2 years of hands-on management in food or retail, high school diploma, Serv Safe certification, and POS experience. The role requires open availability and full-time scheduling with the General Manager.

Qualifications

Authorized to work in the United States.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ensure compliance with all required training and policies to maintain operational standards.
Maintain a working cell phone and communicate via text, phone calls and emails.
Experience with a POS system is preferred.

Responsibilities

Recruit, train, and develop team members while following established plans and procedures to meet goals.
Coordinate pre-shift and safety meetings, and lead by example with guest‑first service.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including break laws and scheduling policies.
Create a safe, inclusive work environment and report concerns to GM and HR.
Oversee inventory, labor costs, and payroll accuracy to maximize profitability.
