Job summary

D Dairy Queen is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to oversee store operations, drive service quality, and support the GM in business planning. This role emphasizes staff training, inventory control, and delivering a high-quality guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of leadership in a high-volume restaurant, strong customer service, and a commitment to food safety standards. The position includes a flexible schedule and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of high-volume restaurant leadership.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven track record of effectively managing COGS and labor.
• Must be ServSafe® certifiable

Responsibilities

• Manage full restaurant operations during shifts, including inventory control and cash handling.
• Train shift leads and crew on PRIDE systems, recipes, food safety, and restaurant safety practices.
• Assist GM with executing the business plan and analyzing P&L impacts to optimize sales and profitability.
• Maintain Fan service standards and resolve customer concerns promptly to ensure positive experiences.
• Lead hiring, training, coaching, and performance feedback for staff; ensure staffing aligns with demand.
• Maintain sanitation, safety standards, and compliance with health regulations across the store.
• Support local store marketing efforts and community outreach.
