URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager in Austin to support service experience, visual processes, and business operations. The role focuses on owning the customer journey, driving engagement in each zone, onboarding new hires, and partnering with leadership to recruit a diverse team.

You will collaborate with store leaders to ensure seamless omni-channel interactions and uphold store standards, safety, and profitability while fostering growth and development across the team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years store leadership experience.
• Strong merchant skills with a history of delivering financial results.
• Proven record of developing great talent.
• Passion for UObrand.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drives a service culture through engaging, efficient and personalized experiences and uses customer feedback to improve interactions.
• Partners with the Visual Merchandising Manager to create an engaging visual experience for URBN customers.
• Delivers an omni-channel shopping experience using MPOS, POS, in-store and curbside pickup.
• Acts as floor service leader, guiding the team to prioritize customer experience and store objectives.
• Onboards new hires and fosters continual development with timely feedback.
• Supports the Store Manager in recruiting and retaining a diverse and engaged team.
• Participates in opening/closing procedures and other operational tasks.
• Collaborates on shipment processing, restocking, and product placement while preserving visual standards.
• Upholds safety, inventory accuracy, and adherence to policies to support profitability.
• Communicates product knowledge and brand messaging to the team.
• Encourages time for personal growth discussions with direct reports.
