URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager in Houston to enhance the service experience, visual processes, and store operations.

You will partner with the store team to lead in-store experiences, omni-channel service, and ongoing staff development. The role emphasizes owning the customer journey, collaborating with Visual Merchandising, and delivering strong financial results while supporting growth and development for team members.

Qualifications

• 2+ years store leadership experience.
• Strong merchant skills and a history of delivering financial results.
• Proven record of developing great talent.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Drives a service culture through engaging, efficient and personalized experiences.
• Interprets voice of customer feedback and team insights to improve interactions.
• Partners with Visual Merchandising to create an engaging store experience.
• Delivers a seamless omni-channel shopping experience (MPOS, POS, pickup).
• Leads floor service by driving engagement in each zone and guiding the team to meet store objectives.
• Onboards new hires and supports ongoing development; provides timely feedback.
• Supports Store Manager in recruiting and retaining a diverse and engaged team.
• Participates in daily opening/closing office procedures and other operational tasks.
• Collaborates on shipment processing, restocking and product placement while upholding standards.
• Upholds safety, inventory accuracy and adherence to policies.
