Job summary

Ghirardelli Chocolate Company is hiring a Store Supervisor in San Francisco. The role oversees store operations, prioritizes daily activities, manages sales floor and resources, and ensures top customer service and safety standards.

You will collaborate with the GM, divisions, and corporate teams to deliver a premier shopping experience. The position requires strong communication, team leadership, and experience in fast-paced retail or restaurant settings, with payroll and scheduling

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Over 1 year of fast-paced restaurant or retail experience; at least 6 months in a supervisory role.
• Excellent communication and team leadership required.
• Experience with payroll and scheduling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure store safety and risk management.
• Communicate professionally with all levels of the organization.
• Collaborate with GM, store and division teams, and corporate liaisons.
• Prioritize daily store activities under the GM.
• Manage sales floor operations and optimize resources.
• Be point of contact with corporate and vendors when managers are absent.
• Uphold exemplary customer service and profitability.
• Monitor sales and labor costs to maximize profitability.
• Respond promptly to customer service issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and food/product safety; monitor allergen comms.
• Use MICROS system effectively.
